Supervisor Lewis began serving on the Board of Supervisors in 2008, and is serving a third term expiring in 2017. He served as Chair in 2010.
Supervisor Lewis serves on the Central Shenandoah Planning District Commission (CSPDC), The Rockbridge Area Tourism Development Board, and ex-officio on the Main Street Lexington Board representing Rockbridge County. He is a member of the County’s Building and Grounds Committee. He previously served on the Rockbridge County Planning Commission, The Rockbridge Partnership which promoted creation of the Rockbridge Area Network Authority (RANA) and the Rockbridge Regional Fire and Rescue Committee which fostered the Rockbridge Regional Fire and Rescue Commission.
The Walkers Creek District includes the Town of Goshen and the communities of Raphine, Brownsburg, Rockbridge Baths and Zack.
Supervisor Lewis is co-owner of Mountain View Farm Greenhouses in Rockbridge Baths and The Jefferson Florist & Garden at East Lexington. He is a past president of the Chamber of Commerce and has a particular interest in issues of education, conservation, the arts and economic development. He holds a BBA from The University of Texas.
