Fire and Rescue
Fire and Rescue services are provided by volunteer agencies to the citizens and visitors in the region. The goal of our agencies is to provide the highest quality of services to the uses of the system, with an emphasis on effective and efficient delivery of the necessary service.

Mission
It is the mission of Rockbridge County Fire-Rescue to promote, sustain and protect our citizens and visitors; and to help provide an excellent quality of life through education and the delivery of all types of emergency-related services.

Vision
It is the vision of Rockbridge County Fire-Rescue to work collectively to seek continuous improvement to our service delivery; to respect the identities of individual agencies; we shall all move forward to meet the needs of the public; to focus on providing services in the most cost effective and efficient means possible and provide for the needs of both internal and external customers.
