RCPSA PAYMENT OPTIONS
Cash
Cash payments can be brought to our office, Monday – Friday, 8:30am
– 5:00pm, excluding holidays.
Please do not send cash through the mail.
Our office is located on the second floor of the County
Administration Building, 150 S. Main St., Lexington.
Checks, Money Orders & Cashier checks
Checks, money orders & cashier checks should be made payable to
RCPSA & can be brought to the office or mailed to:

Please allow ample time for the post office to deliver your payment
by the due date. The
RCPSA is not responsible for non-delivery by the US Postal Service.
ACH Draft Service
Automatic Recurring bank draft service allows automatic bank
drafting from your checking or savings account to assure your bill
is paid in full and on time every billing, even if you are out of
town. This convenient
service is free, and is the same kind of service many people use to
make mortgage or insurance payments.

Credit Card, Debit Card & E-Check Payments
Rockbridge County Public Service Authority is pleased to
offer this customer requested ONLINE payment option.
Paymentus Corporation is a third party
automated payment service that accepts Visa, MasterCard, Discover,
and Electronic Checking.
* You can now pay your bill at your convenience!
If the payment is made during RCPSA business hours it will be
posted to your account the same business day.
If payment is made after 5pm, it will be posted to your
account the next business day.
To avoid late payment fees or possible disconnection of
service, the payment must be received by 5pm on the due date.
We will receive notification of your payment and post it to
your account. For each
payment, you will receive a confirmation number and will be sent a
confirmation email for your records.
* Paymentus will charge a $3.50 service fee for each transaction.
This is a convenience fee charged by Paymentus, our online
processing provider.
This fee is not
assessed by the RCPSA.
Transactions are limited to $200 each, but there is no limit to the
number of transactions you can make.
*WARNING If you choose to pay a past due cut off notice
online, please be advised that if your payment does not post to your
account by 5 pm on the due date, you will be disconnected.
If online or phone credit card payment is made after the
disconnect date printed on your past due notice, please include the
$55.00 reconnect fee and call 540-463-4329 with your confirmation
number, to have service restored.
Online and phone debit card & e-check payments will not be
accepted to have service restored for nonpayment.

What information do I need to use this service?
Customers should
be ready with the following information:
* The 4-digit Rockbridge County PSA account number (located on your
bill)
*Your Credit Card number or your Checking Account and Routing
Numbers
Why is there a Service Fee?
Paymentus charges a $3.50 convenience fee to use their service.
The fee covers payment handling and processing charges.
The Rockbridge County Public Service Authority does not
receive any portion of this fee.
The fee and utility payment will show up separately on your
bank statement or credit card bill.
