TRANSIENT OCCUPANCY TAX (LODGING TAX)

The County of Rockbridge imposed and levied a transient occupancy tax at the rate of 6% on all hotels, motels, boardinghouses, travel campgrounds and other facilities offering guest rooms rented out for continuous occupancy for fewer than thirty (30) days.

This tax is administered by the Commissioner of the Revenue and forms are available in his office for reporting this tax.
